Thank you to those who've listened and taken time to comment on my devotional. It means a great deal to me.
Judith, you are so right. Let's not sweat the small stuff in light of eternity.
Feone, your mother sounds like a woman of God - a role model for you to pattern after. You are blessed.
And Penny, your comments are full of grace and wisdom. That's sweet of you to link to Feone's poetry. Thank you!
To penny and everyone.
This just brings tears of joy in JESUS name that what God has blessed me to write such words of HIS Holy spirit has brought forth what was intended by His Hands.
I hope all enjoy my Christian poems and welcome to email me any comments or feedback I would sincerely love to receive your comments.
Thank you, Miss Davis, for sharing about your mother and your love for her. If anyone would like to read poetry for the Lord, I invite you to go to Miss Davis' site and read it. It is very beautiful!

Praise God! Justing to your audio Donna remind me of when I was younger teenage and I remember mom coming in to my room. And mother giving me some clothings to put up. And I just look at her and I remember the things she went through as an child from being drown to being abuse. And then praying for jesus to bless with three Christian loving and talented and loving children of God. And I sit and thank God for her being her. She died twice and come back into my life and God told isn't her time. Today I see with her cane and I remember crying when she had to get serious and dangerous spine surgency. I just outside on an warm spring day and talking to the lord saying how much she been through... and then this... All I could do is give her strength and keep and carry her and ease her pain. sigh... I praise God for given me s much from an strong Christian Black women that never complaint but just give others love, hope and peace through Lord Christ. Gensis 12:2

Great comment, Judith! It's so true - we get caught up in the here and now, and forget that it will all be forgotten soon enough, no matter what we did (except what we did for Him!).

Donna, what a good message! I love what you told the Sunday school class about "will this count for eternity?" You're absolutely right-- I think we'd all be a little less stressed out if we kept that in mind, and didn't sweat the small stuff!!
