Members Area Panel
Once you have logged in, the Members Area Panel will be displayed, similar to the one in the screen shot on the left.
Please Note: Your Members Area panel may not be identical to this screen shot as new links and services are constantly being added to the Members Area and it is not possible to reflect all of those changes here. The Members Area Panel is comprised of three sections. The Categories section, which contain all of the links necessary to use the service are in the upper portion of the panel. The middle portion is devoted to Member News items, and the lower portion has a link for Members to upgrade to Publishers and the manual Logout link. Please Note: If you expand many of the categories and folders in your Members Panel tree, beyond the height of the panel window, a scroll bar will appear to allow you to scroll through the expanded tree without having to collapse any categories or folders to view others. Categories The Categories section is your "control panel" for the Quikonnex system. There you will find all of the links you need to use the service. It is a "tree" structure, similar to the one on your QuikView Channel Viewer panel. Just click on any category to expand it for access to its folders and links. Please Note: Your level of access to the categories, folders and links will depend upon whether you are a Member or a Publisher. The most commonly used categories for Members: QMTP Private Messenger Get your private QMTP messages here Documentation/Forums Private forums, documentation & videos Support/Contact Live Support, conference & workshop schedules Affiliate Info Access to downlines, ad tracking campaigns, & more In addition, Publishers will have access to: Channel Manager "Publishing Central" - from here you get your QuikPost Bookmarklet, post new items to your channel, change your channel settings and review channel statistics and comments to your articles. Channel Listings Make your channel(s) available to the public here. This is the main Quikonnex channel listing, which is open to all subscribers and will display a gold Q subscribe icon next to your channel title when you have added it to the listing. Banners & Graphics Get "cut & paste" subscription code and banner and seal graphics to link to your channel from your website, and to allow your subscribers to subscribe to your channel at your website. For complete information on using the Quikonnex system, please refer to the documentation and training videos posted in the forum. Just click the Documentation/Forums category on the Members Area panel. Member News The middle section of the Members Area panel is set aside for the latest Quikonnex Member News. This is actually a special channel, available only to Members and Publishers through this panel, to keep them informed of the addition of new features or services. Just click on any title to read, or hear and watch, the full news article. Remember, Quikonnex channels are media-rich, so don't be surprised at how the news is delivered. It could be text, graphics, audio or video. But no matter the method of delivery, this portion of the Members Area panel will keep you up-to-date on all the Q news. Upgrade to Publisher If you are a basic Member and have decided you are ready to publish your own channel, just click the link provided in the lower portion of the Members Area panel to upgrade. Just choose the membership plan which best suits your needs, click that link and complete the form. Manual Logout It is a good idea to click the LOGOUT link provided at the bottom of the Members Area panel. Though closing your browser will automatically log you out of Quikonnex, it could take a few seconds. To maintain the security of your account, it is best to logout manually after each session. |
