Your QMTP Address BookQuikView is the perfect place to keep all of your important QMTP links organized and at the ready. You can add the QMTP link for each Q Member with whom you correspond regularly so that sending them a message is only a click away.
Your Address Book Category
We recommend that you create a separate category in QuikView as your personal QMTP address book, similar to that shown to the left. Within that category, if needed as your list grows, you can add folders to organize your QMTP links by "family" and "friends," or "personal" and "business," or whatever topics will meet your needs. Adding QMTP Links
Once you have a category and/or folders set up, you can begin adding QMTP links. As with any link, you can use your bookmarklet or right click the target category or folder to launch the Add Item panel, similar to the one shown in the screen shot to the right. When adding QMTP links you will NOT want to accept all of the defaults for the link. You should change the Link Name, shown in the screen shot to the right as QMTP Private Messenger, to the name of the Q Member for that link. However, do not change the URL or the link will not launch the QMTP Messenger window for that Q Member. If you prefer, for the Link Name you can use a nickname or company name, or anything which will help you to remember the Q Member to whom that QMTP link belongs. You can change the Link Name at anytime by right-clicking and choosing Properties from the Context Menu. Using QMTP Links Once you have added your QMTP links to your QuikView "Address Book" category, using them is very easy. Just click the name of a Q Member in your "address book" to whom you would like to send a QMTP message, and their QMTP Messenger will launch in the right pane of your browser window, as shown below. Simply enter your name, your own QMTP link, your message, then click the Submit button, and your message is on it's way. It's that easy!
