QuikView Toolbar Functions

QuikView's Toolbar provides a powerful full folder and link search that queries all titles, urls and descriptions in your QuikView and provides two ways of viewing results.

By clicking your Cntl Key + Collapse QuikView Search your entire tree will Expand. You will want to do this if you choose to search your entire QuikView, as the search function is only performed on displayed links and folders. This gives you the ability easily isolate searches by only opening specific folders.

By adding prefixes in the Search Box you can limit or expand your search. Type any of the following before your query - url:, name:, desc:, all:. By default, link name is searched only.

Next click on either the Binoculars QuikView Search or the Highlighter QuikView Search to start your search. With the binoculars clicked, when a matching link or folder is found a javascript confirm window is shown with some details. You can choose to continue your search or to stop searching on that query. With the highlighter clicked, all the matching links are highlighted and no confirmation window is displayed.

Collapse All QuikView Search closes the entire tree and only shows the root or primary folders. Cntl Key + QuikView Search  expands your entire tree.

Reload or Refresh QuikView Search checks that your QuikView is up-to-date, showing all your currently loaded links and updating all information in your QuikView. It is recommended to reload or update QuikView after adding any links.
