User Menus

The QuikView User Menu is the grey box of links which you will see in the lower portion of the panel. The menu will contain a different set of links depending upon whether or not you are logged in to your QuikView account.

If you are not logged in, or have not yet signed up for a QuikView account, you will see only three links on the User Menu:

Log In   Click to log in
Sign Up   Click to sign up
   Help   Click for help

If you have signed up and are logged in to your QuikView account, you will see a different set of four links in the User Menu. The "logged in" version of the User Menu is shown to the right, and explained below.

Post-Login User Menu

Preferences   Click this link to launch your Preferences panel, where you can edit your personal QuikView account preferences. These preferences were initially entered when you signed up for your account. For complete details on using the Preferences panel, please click the Setting Preferences link in the Help Tree.

Create Category   Click this link to create additional top-level categories in your QuikView sidebar. Categories are designated by the icon.
For complete details on adding new categories, click the Categories & Folders link in the Help Tree.

Help   Click this link for the inline Help panel in your QuikView sidebar. On that panel you will see a list of Help topics. Highlight the topic you want, and click the Display Topic button beneath the list to view the Help information in the sidebar window. To return to the QuikView panel, just click the Return button.

Log Out   Click this link to log out of your current QuikView session. If you accept the default "Until I close browser" from the Remember Me drop-down session-duration list when you log in, you will be logged out of QuikView each time you close your browser session. However, if you have chosen a longer time frame, your account will remain open even if you close your browser, unless you click the Log Out link.

Please Note: It is not necessary to log out of QuikView after each session, if you are working on your own computer. However, it is strongly recommended that you manually log out of QuikView if you are working on other computers, in order to protect the privacy of your account.
