Using QuikView Overview

Adding Channels

Subscribing to Quikonnex Channels is easy with QuikView. Logged in to QuikView, just click the gold Q icon at the top right corner of every channel website or in Qsearch results.

The Add Link panel will launch showing your default folder, Link Name, URL and Description pre-filled. From the drop down menu, choose a folder, rename the link if you'd like and/or the description. Do not change the URL. You may also enter a favicon, if you'd like.

The QChannel/RSS box must be checked for channels to appear properly in QuikView.

Clicking the Submit button will add this channel to both your links menu in QuikView and Channel Summary.

For more information, please click the Adding Channels link in the Help Tree.

Adding Links

Adding links as bookmarks is just as easy as adding channels. You can add new bookmarks with either the Add Link to QuikView bookmarklet, which is browser-specific, or by right-clicking a category or folder in QuikView and choosing Add Link from the context menu.

You can also add favicons to identify individual bookmarks in your collection. All bookmarks added to QuikView are available to you from any browser, on any computer, and unless you share your login and password, they remain private and accessible only to you. For complete information on adding new bookmark links, please click the Adding Links link in the Help Tree.

Context Menus
There are a number of actions available for your categories, folders and links. Right-clicking the item will bring up a "context" menu and display the actions available for the specific category, folder or link.

Mac Users: In your Preferences panel, enter a check next to Show Menu Icon to display a small icon next to each category, folder and link. Clicking that icon will give you access to the context menus.

For complete information on using both context menus, please click the Context Menus link in the Help Tree.
